A while back I signed up for an apron swap at Katherine's Corner blog; yes I know how funny this may sound to those who know me well and are familiar with my dislike of  cooking. The picky eaters in my live had robbed me of the very little pleasure I used to find in cooking.  

Nonetheless I have to cook almost every day and when I don’t use an apron food find its way to my shirts, it must be a Murphy law!  I really like to wear aprons,since I was a little girl. 

I guess is the attest of my Catholic upbringings. I used to wear uniform to school and once we arrived to school most girls used to wear an apron on top of our uniform. Mine was light pink and I wore it until about 8th grade. I loved my school apron, it had big pockets ans was so comfy!

I don’t have a picture of it but it was like the ones in the picture below.

For this swap I was so lucky to be paired with Lucy, it happens that I have been reading her blog (Lucy’s Reality) for a while and it never occurred to me that I was emailing with the same Lucy!

She already posted about the apron I sent her, read the post here. I am not as brave as she is and I won’t be posing with my apron. But it’s beautiful and it’s my new favorite. It feature my favorite bird and loved it since I got it in the mail.
